Music sheet book “Sagym Duniye”

  • About the project:
In 2018, we published a sheet music publication “Sagym Duniye” containing works by Batyr written by the artist’s friends - composers who have entered the history of Kazakh music: Kuat Shildebayev, Tolegen Mukhamedjanov, Najib Vildanov and Renat Gaysin.

The title of the collection “Sagym Duniye” conveys the spirit of Batyr’s work, embodying a “mirage world”, in which everything that comes, is in constant motion, gradually moving away into eternity. His solo career began with the album “Otan Ana” in 2002, which was a key album in his comprehension of national music. The album was re-released in 2005, including the song “Sagym duniye”. In 2015, the album “Amanat” was released, which consisted exclusively of songs in the Kazakh language.

The collection contained songs “Otan Ana”, “Sagym Duniye”, “Qayran Konil-ay”, “Ayalagan Arman-ay”, “Kezdesu”, “Ake”, “Zhan Ana”, “Anyz Aru”, “Zhuregimde Astana”, “Kunder-ay”, “Aldar Kose”, “Uyiqta Bopem”, “Asem Duniye”, “Amanat”.
  • Creation:
Adilzhan Tolukpayev and Dariya Kuatkyzy worked on the adaptation of the songs. For publishers, it was important to make the arrangements high-quality and convenient, so that the songs of Kazakh composers could be heard in the homes of our compatriots.
